A lot of people are curious about what the final product looks like, so we’re documenting every step in a video series. The journey ends with the delivery of this amazing home in Squamish , and believe it or not, assembling it onsite will take just 4 hours.
After four weeks of hard work, finalizing the electrical wiring and completing the core of the home, we’ve reached the pre-fold milestone. Everything has been pre-approved, and we’re now at the final inspection before folding.
ALMOST READY TO SHIP, HERE'S THE SCTRUCTURE
In the video, you'll see that our homes are now at a "Ready-to-Ship" stage. This means all the critical and complex work is already done. We're talking about:
-
Complete Structural Work: Drywall, windows, and doors are all in place.
-
Essential Systems Installed: All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are fully integrated.
-
Your Personal Touch: The home is a blank canvas, ready for you or your contractor to apply the finishing touches that will truly make it your own.
We've designed our homes this way to give you the best of both worlds: a high-quality, structurally complete home that you can personalize to your exact taste.

Project Planning
With an approved building permit, commence construction, apply for trade permits, and schedule inspections. Once you have an approved building permit, start the construction process. Apply for the necessary trade permits and schedule inspections as needed.

Pre Construction
The journey begins with a thorough on-site consultation. Experts assess the space, understand your vision, and align on objectives to ensure the laneway home meets your specific needs.

Build Your Dream
The construction phase starts once necessary permits are obtained and the budget is finalized. This phase involves the actual building of the laneway home according to the approved floor plan and design specifications.

Speed of Construction: Prefabricated homes, including laneway homes, are often quicker to construct than traditional stick-built homes.
Quality Control: Prefabricated homes are typically built in factories under strict quality control measures. This means that the materials used and the construction process itself are closely monitored, leading to potentially higher quality and more durable homes.
Moisture Management: Prefabricated homes incorporate advanced moisture management techniques and materials. This can include properly sealed seams, moisture-resistant barriers, and efficient drainage systems, all crucial for protecting the home from rain, snow, and ice.
Foundation Design: Prefabricated homes can be designed with elevated foundations that help mitigate the risk of water damage, particularly in areas prone to flooding or heavy rain.

Sealing and Caulking: Prefabricated homes are often meticulously sealed during the manufacturing process to minimize air and water infiltration
